As the first company in India to accomplish this feat in the “Burnishing Tools” segment, the company reached a new high in 2001 when it received ISO 9001 Certification for the Design, Manufacture, Marketing, and Service of all types of burnishing tools. We have upgraded the certificate to ISO 9001. With our consistent quality and strong after-sales support in the Indian market, we have a very diverse customer base in India that includes MNCs, corporations, small and medium-sized businesses, and public sector undertakings.

Promoters
The business was founded by Mr. Devraj C., A technocrat engineer has a specialization in “Tools and Dies” and held a top management position at a prestigious corporate entity in Coimbatore, India. He had spent a few years in Switzerland as a “Deputation” for advanced training for a few years in Switzerland which laid the foundation to start BBTPL. In addition to being an authority on “Tools and Dies”, he also created and invented numerous multi-specialty tools, jigs, fixtures, cutting tools, and sophisticated burnishing machines.
Working beneath the direction and management of our Director, Mr. Devraj. C we have earned an enormous reputation in the industry. His ability to understand and comprehend the needs of the varying clients’ along with a customer-centric approach has played a significant role in the successful business journey.
Process, Product, Application
Process
Burnishing is a method of polishing the surface of a component to achieve superior finish (0.1Ra to 0.3Ra based on pre-burnishing condition) through the cold rolling process on Ferrous & Non-ferrous machined components as opposed to material removal. Smoothing peaks and troughs in surface finish will give a mirror like quality and close tolerance with a minimal time at a negligible cost.
